1). ESTATE SALES

An estate sale is a full-service solution if you have a sizable collection of priceless objects you won’t be taking with you. Although it is a fantastic tool for connecting people, it is unregulated and unmanaged, so you are left to vet potential purchasers on your own.

5). DONATE TO LOCAL CHURCH OR COMMUNITY CENTER
Call your neighborhood church or community center and inquire as to whether they offer programs for the donation of used furniture or clothing. Your donations would be much appreciated by churches, community centers, homeless shelters, animal shelters, and many other groups. This type of donation can also qualify for a tax benefit for the items given. Keep track of the objects you’ve donated and their values in your records.

6). SALVATION ARMY
This is a good option because they will actually send a truck out to your home to pick up your items. They are a good organization that does great things for people in need. Having said that, be sure to schedule them far in advance and have a backup plan in place such as the ones described below. Salvation Army can be unreliable at times and is fairly picky about what they will and will not take.

7). GIVE TO FRIENDS OR FAMILY.

8). GARBAGE COLLECTION
You will inevitably have some trash after selling and/or giving your belongings. If it’s just a little bit, you can get rid of it right away. Put it in your garbage and you’re done, so long as your municipality will accept it! Recycle everything that can be recycled. You could also be able to recycle scrap metal in your area, depending on where you live.
9). RENT A DUMPSTER
The majority of us, however, have items that just cannot be placed in any of the aforementioned categories. One solution for this remaining rubbish is to rent a dumpster and enlist the aid of friends or family to load it. To make sure you purchase the right size dumpster for your items, you will need to conduct some estimation. You will be charged for unused space if you order a dumpster that is too large. You will need to get a second one, which will be considerably more expensive, if it is too tiny. When you account for your time, labor, and dumpster/permit costs, you might be able to hire a rubbish removal firm to assist for less money and far quicker.
10). Garbage REMOVAL
